Question 1

What is AnswerLink?

Accepted Answer

AnswerLink learns what your company actually knows, reads what your market is asking, and turns both into answers published on your own hub — built to be found by people, search engines and AI assistants.

Question 2

How long does the first scan take?

Accepted Answer

About four minutes for a typical website. You enter one address; the scanner finds your sitemap itself, reads the pages that carry substance, and comes back with your services, cases, regions and expertise as records you correct.

Question 3

My website is out of date. Should I fix it before scanning?

Accepted Answer

No — scan it as it is. What your site currently says about you is also what every search engine and assistant currently believes about you. Seeing that gap is the most useful thing the first scan produces.

Question 4

How soon can I publish my first answer?

Accepted Answer

The same day. Scan, confirm the records that matter for one subject, pick a question off your canvas, and answer the handful of things only you know — the draft is written around your answers as you give them.

Question 5

Does the AI write everything, or do I?

Accepted Answer

Both, and the split is the point. It writes the structure and the connective prose; the parts worth reading are your answers to its questions, kept in your words and marked as yours in the draft.

Question 6

How is this different from generating articles with AI?

Accepted Answer

A generator writes what is plausible about your industry. AnswerLink writes only what is traceable to a record you confirmed — and blocks publishing on any sentence that is not, which is a constraint a general model has no way to impose.

Question 7

Will the writing sound like us?

Accepted Answer

It reads how you already write — your pages, and optionally your sent mail — into a tone profile the generator obeys: sentence length, directness, the words you use and the ones you never use. You can adjust every rule by hand.

Question 8

Can the Answer Agent make something up about my company?

Accepted Answer

It is built not to. The agent can only draw on answers you have published and records you have confirmed; a question outside them gets an honest redirect to a person rather than an improvised reply.

Question 9

What happens when the agent cannot answer something?

Accepted Answer

It says so, offers a way to reach a person, and the question is kept. Unanswerable questions are grouped by subject with how often they came up, and proposed on your Theme Canvas as territory you have not covered yet.

Question 10

What if the scan gets something wrong about us?

Accepted Answer

It will, which is why nothing arrives confirmed. Extraction is a first draft of your company; correcting a filled-in form takes minutes where filling an empty one takes an afternoon, and your corrections teach it which sources to trust.

Question 11

What if two of our own pages contradict each other?

Accepted Answer

It surfaces the disagreement instead of averaging it. Both versions are shown with where each was seen, you pick, and your choice is applied everywhere that fact appears.

Question 12

What happens when our company changes?

Accepted Answer

Re-read a source and it adds only what changed. Records that no longer match are flagged for you rather than silently overwritten, because a stale fact sitting on a published page is worse than an obvious gap.

Question 13

What are AEO and GEO, and how do they differ from SEO?

Accepted Answer

SEO is being found in a list of links. AEO is being the answer a search engine shows above that list. GEO is being the source an AI assistant draws on when it answers without showing a list at all.

Question 14

If assistants answer for people anyway, why publish at all?

Accepted Answer

Because an assistant answers from somewhere. If your company has not published a specific answer, it answers from someone who has — a competitor, a forum, or a general impression of your industry that may be wrong about you.

Question 15

Will an answer hub compete with my own website for rankings?

Accepted Answer

No, because it answers questions your main site does not. The hub sits on a subdomain of your domain, covers question-shaped queries your service pages were never written for, and links back to those pages.

Question 16

Can you measure how often an AI assistant cites us?

Accepted Answer

Only partly, and we say which part. A visit arriving with an identifiable AI referrer is counted; citations that happen inside an assistant with no click are not published by anyone, so that figure reads 'not measured' rather than an estimate.

Question 17

Do you count AI crawlers separately from people?

Accepted Answer

Always, on their own line. A thousand GPTBot hits is not an audience, and a single traffic number that blends people with machines is how a company convinces itself a dying page is doing fine.

Question 18

Is anything we put into AnswerLink used to train a model?

Accepted Answer

No — not by us, and not by the model providers we send text to. Your Company Brain, your answers and your hub are yours; we process them to run the product and for nothing else.

Question 19

Do you keep the documents I upload?

Accepted Answer

No. A document is read, its insight extracted into anonymised records with names, amounts and counterparties stripped, and the file is then deleted. The source list keeps metadata only.

Question 20

What happens if I connect a mailbox for the voice profile?

Accepted Answer

It is read once, in memory, to measure how you write — sentence length, directness, recurring phrases. The messages themselves are never stored, and it is entirely optional; uploading a few things you wrote works too.

Question 21

Does the hub track visitors across the web?

Accepted Answer

No. Measurement is first-party and on your hub only. It sets no cookies for anonymous visitors and uses no third-party tracker — it counts reading behaviour on your pages, not people's browsing lives.

Question 22

What exactly is an Answer Hub?

Accepted Answer

One branded, searchable destination on your own subdomain where every answer you publish lives — a normal website to a person, and a well-labelled dataset to a crawler. This page is one.

Question 23

Can I use my own domain?

Accepted Answer

Yes — answers.yourcompany.com, with one DNS record we hand you the exact value for. An AnswerLink subdomain is free and works immediately if you would rather start there.

Question 24

What can I do without paying?

Accepted Answer

Scan your website, build and correct your Company Brain, see your theme landscape, and publish on an AnswerLink subdomain. You find out what the product knows about your company before any decision about money.

Question 25

What happens to my answers if I stop paying?

Accepted Answer

They are yours and they leave with you. Export every record and every answer whenever you want — the hub is a place your knowledge lives, not a place it is held.
